From our very first guest.
After a very nice drive through the Tea Plantations of the Munnar area we have reached a T junction where our caretaker was waiting for us to guide our driver through the jungle. After a short adventures journey up to the hill we reached the place we would stay for the next night. A very warm welcome we got with a personal touch and very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room was very nice set up with flowers and nice furniture. Everything is build of the local wood and rocks as we got explained. The wood of the House which is on the floor also spend an atmosphere we haven’t had in any resort in India before. Same was with the food. On the way to the resort our driver got a call where they were asking what kind of food we prefer so they will organize. And it was very good. They choose the typical Kerala species and gave us a touch of the local taste while making it delicious for our European taste. I must say it was all perfect made and we felt very comfortable at the whole time. We had a jeep ride through the Tea area and and a place where wild Elephants are coming to drink from a water lake. Unfortunately we haven’t had time to make the walk through the the wood plantations which was offered. To mark the kindness of this place and the outstanding atmosphere we want to mention that our driver got offered a nice bed and food from the hotel side. On the next morning we left very early in the foggy nature while the driver said he has never seen a place where the kitchen was as clean and hygienic as here as well as where the people are so kindness. We got guided back through the jungle while the driver followed the motorbike of our caretaker which i joined also. The ride through the fog in the early morning which the fresh air and close to nature atmosphere was a nice end of our fabulous stay. Thanks for every second we were with you. Now 3 days later we still think of your place and can not forget. The only negative thing is that when have been here you will compare all other places you go and you will not find something which is the same or similar. Thanks again and see you next time…for sure!
